Thanks but the main problem is that I can't use OPLs HDL Server for some unknown to me reason.
As I said above,it works with the hdld_svr.elf but not with OPLs HDL Server.
Now about that newer modded version of hdl_svr.elf(92a)...is it only this that I have to do?
Start ule=>start PS2NET=>load the elf from my USB =>start HDL Dump GUI v15=>refresh
If this is all I had to do,then for some reason,HDL Gump GUI can't find the PS2 but I can enter the PS2 by using
If I do the same but with the old hdl_svr,then it works fine(I don't know about the speed but it hdl dump is able to connect when I use hdl_srv 0.8.5
oops sorry for forgetting to tell you about using 0.9.0 for hdl dump gui else it won't see the elf file i mentioned. The chain is right if you replace the hdl dump with 0.9.0

I don't really care now(I didn't know that there is much faster method)but it's just strange...why do I have normal speed when I play network game, copy files with ule and if I remember correctly I also used it before to install small games without any problems.
Now I just wanted to copy one game from the hdd and I find this...less than 20kb download speed.
And about hdl dump 0.9.0...I thought it may be that because I saw the picture but it didn't find a link anywhere to it(maybe I didn't look hard enough)
Yes thanks,I already find it and tried it(I was able to connect to the hdd this time)but...
1.I don't see a way to copy games, only install and delete
2.The games are not in alphabetical order but in installed order(before noticing that thought that some of my games are missing)
Normally when I install games I connect the hdd to my pc directly, not over lan(I install over lan only if the game is small)
wow, i never noticed it was lacking the option for copying back games to hdd. It must be a GUI issue. I am pretty sure any other GUI for hdl_dumb out there will have that option.

Of course you can continue to use 0.8x versions. I just wanted to let you know that there is a faster version. I install all my games from LAN and it cut my installing times a lot.
One question...is it the hdl_dump(the console version)what is important or the gui version(hdl_dumb)is also important to get such speed.
I mean, can I use the hdl_dump with the gui from HDL DUMP GUI 1.5(he have more options)
the only thing responsible from the high speed is on ps2 side. so use whatever you want on the pc side as long as it is compatible with 0.9 versions
I guess nothing then.
0.9.0 - don't have copy function
HDL Dump GUI v15 - can't connect when I use the faster version
HDL DUMP Helper GUI v2 - can't connect when I use the faster version
HDLDump server v0.9.0 isn't compatible with HDLDump v0.9.1-compatible clients. Likewise, the HDLDump v0.9.1-compatible clients cannot work with HDLDump server v0.8.6-compatible servers.
This thread has an even faster version: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/new-...0-8-7-a-94231/
v0.9.2A is probably the fastest version ever (~5MB/s ), but it's a little unstable and works with HDLDump v0.9.1-compatible clients.
