IŽm not sure if anyone (since it is open source) would add support for it in 'Open PS2 Loader', but there isnŽt even a Homebrew IEEE 1394/FireWire/I-Link-Driver.
IF we see it someday, it still would be an other alternative and nice enhancement/feature.
FAT users without NWA/BBA are still forced to USB only, while Slim-Users now have a choice even without buying an extra Case, or NWA.
If FAT users would have another choice without NWA (if it is atleast a bit faster than USB) that would give more people the possibilty to play games from alternate devices with reliable speed.
Practically those which have a V7 and a V9, but only one NWA can put their NWA to the V9 and use an IEEE 1394-HD on their V7.
NWAs are quite limited compared to how many FATs have been produced.
Anyway,... The driver is not developed and if no-one develops one, weŽll never see such an implementation.
So the best thing to do is to hope for it, or to contribute.
