I've had problems sometimes with PngOptimizer, it sometimes makes the images not be seen on OPL themes. So if you ever optimize a png and you don't see it show up on the theme, PngOptimizer killed it. :) But if you still see it on OPL, then it did a good job. :)
It's a hit and miss sometimes.
yep.. they load very fast anyway. so i am not going to optimise them.
is there a repository of cover art around? i had only a few of the games you did and had to rename them to the PAL versions. I have also gone to a cover art website but they have scans of the entire cover front and back in one piece.
I have 166 games on this HDD and i do not want to dl each one and then edit the damn thing in paint to shrink it to 140 200 size required . i already did the "A's" and it took an hour to do 6 covers....... not that keen......lol
any links appreciated.......
Have you tried Gamefaqs.com? They tend to have the various game covers and have them split by Front, Spine, and Back. Then just find a batch (Drag and Drop) image resizer to make them proper size.
@Jay-jay Yeah, I noticed that with the Main and Info screens from your "Black On..." Themes. I was playing around with another Optimizer (OptiPNG) and thought it was caused by it, but I got sidetracked and haven't returned to it yet. I did drag the original two files back in to fix it though... just not optimized.
sojakai, all the images on my themes were optimized and tested to make sure they were still working after. So I don't think there is a need to optimize them again or else OPL will not like it. OPL is a very "picky" app. :)
I have bits and pieces from several themes in a folder that I am using to try and piece together a theme... if I stop being lazy and actually do something other than just collect. I also had a bunch of icons that I had made, all temporaries, mixed in the folder. I tossed the whole folder into the optimizer... ^.^
