About opl and cd games compatibility

is opl compatible with games on cd? I tried to run age of empires and metal slug 5 without any results, there is any trick to be done with compatibility modes? and one last thing, if i change the iso image of the game into dvd image shall it work or it would be the same? ty and sorry for my english!

No, ESR lets you load backed up DVDs. It also requires the .iso file to be patched before you burn to DVD.

I know you are and i answered your question, Open Ps2 Loader does not support booting from disc.

Yes OPL is compatible with CD games. I don't have those two games so I can't tell you if they are compatible or not. Just check the compatibility thread (Open PS2 Loader Game compatibility). Maybe you can find a solution there.

Age of Empires 2 is compatible, at least with internal HDD...
