[PS3] OPL don't list games via SMB
Have you disabled 'Password Protected Sharing' on your PC? On Windows 7 that is a required step, at least in my experience it is.
sorry for double post.
Today I tried to connect with a MAC to my PS2SMB folder.
I connected to it with the following adress : smb://192.168.0.251/
I can log in and the MAC is able to see my folder, but it can't active it, so I can't see the files and if I have to guess I'd say that this is where the PS3 has it's problems, it can connect to it, but can't list any files.
Somebody know what to do ?
double check your sharing for your folder.. i was actually having the same problem.. my ps2 would connect to my pc but it wouldn't list my games.. i found that even though i shared the folder windows 7 for some reason put a lock on it.. after you add sharing to the folder just check to make sure there isn't a lock over it.. if there is just right click go to sharing and then down to homegroup read..
