What and how to remove excess files from internal to free up space? –
How can I free up space on my ps3 hdd I have a 37 gb ps3 fat model and I only have 1.71 gb free space on it and even after I've used comgenie to delete extra games and folders I no longer play and I cleared the cache, what was supposed to be 4gb cache space from Tekken 6 it still isn't giving me no space and all I have is 8 games and most of them are small games except for LA Noire which is required 14 gb install on internal and I followed this tutorial to try and free up some space and all i have is 1.75 gb free space and only 3 game data utilities saved and there like 2000, 7000, and 5000 kbs and all the save data is like 2 and 300 kbs a piece for the games so where is all of my other space at? I cant seem to find it no matter what I did with tutorial and using comgenie to delete old files. Here is the link I used that shows how and what to remove http://www.******.com/showthread.php?t=87675.
A good place to start would be to delete the update folder from each game. Delete the whole folder, not just the file inside of it. The update files I think are 250 megs each. If all 8 of your games have these update files, that's 2 gigs right there
install mutiman and use it to clear cache
You are trying to push shit up a hill. Try using a bigger hard drive or deleting LA Noire.
I've already cleared cache and deleted all the update folders. I don't understand with only 8 games where all my space is? pleaseee helpp.
You have a 40 gig PS3. LA Noire is over 20 Gigs. That's where your space has gone. Finish playing the game and delete it
