Update ?: ps1emu appldr-npdrm,cobra reverse engineering

Anyone know the status of getting ps1emu appldr-npdrm to access psx backups from internal/external disk. 5-6 months ago there was some work on this by several people. Is it a matter of someone leaking the npdrm algo/keys. If it was the case that they are afraid of being id'd then release the info anonymously. Freenet/mixmaster usenet/Tor/+wardiving+mac address spoof can make it virtually impossible to be traced (thus sued). Am I missing something because last I checked some people seem to have the required info (npdrm keys). Anybody know of any progress on the issue?
