Hi
Is there really a way to fix over heating PS3 ?
i have searched around and looked into youtube and other resources online, all are talking about thermal paste change.
i did that but still console over heat and shuts down after 15 to 30 seconds from cold start.
any help much appreciated .
it more than likely is the thermal paste under the Heat Spreader, in order to change this thermal paste you will need some thermal epoxy. i did this to one ps3 i used to have and it fixed it.
heatpaste 19 blade fan and a vent drilled in the bottom with a filter so it can suck in more air if it shuts down after 15-30 seconds you may have begginings of ylod also
