We hit a Snag.. we ported it to PS3 compliant code BUT its relying on alot of Linux Kernel calls

(this is Cael btw)

We're going to try the harder task of porting the x86 windows version. otherwise we're sending out the call for help.

two ideas exist:

when AsbestOs is finished with xorg and Gui support we'll toss it ontop of a minimal linux distro much like Linux host vers of xbmc or (less known) AmithlonXL (linux minimal OS with x86 Amiga emu and OS)

OR

Completly replace linux Kernel calls.

I thinks this is some awsome stuff. I have a phat ps3 with 3.41 This makes me want to use my service jig just to go down to 3.15 and install the otheros. Wich brings me to my point. I was trying to install the otheros witht he renamed EBOOT.BIN. And untill I had a partition other than the main ps3 hdd0 it wouldnt run. I kept getting an 800 error. Then I created another hd at dev_hdd02 and it was able to make otheros. So I now need to open the sysconf_ and see the english txt, were The Debug settings and other os txt are. I think if we did what REBUG did to the sysconf settings we can renable the otheros option. and with the renamed EBOOT.BIN we could run the others installer.
