There's no need to change the keys, there only changed to stop piracy (BM)... Math 99.9% sure knows them yet he wont release them and like math said in a twitter post to sony, why change the keys if we (in this case math and others who are technically advanced on the situation) knows how to obtain them? Math's doing it smart for a few reason's .. Example he hasn't given a step by step guide how to pwn the ldr's or whatever to obtain the keys, and hes set on not telling (for now :P) so why would sony bother "updating there security"...

im hoping that sooner or later someone is going to start working on the ways to find 3.60+ keys that math suggested a while back but it seeming went unused, its the only even half sensible suggestion i have heard so far for us to be able to play new games or get newer custom firmware.
math ,i know you probably wont awnser this but is it the 3.60 keys you found? did you manage to use the same methods to find later keys? i wont ask specifics.
i myself have no coding know how and am not able to help on that side of things, but it almost seems to me like people are looking in the worng places to start with.

Till another epic fail by sony(dont think so, it wont be again) or private keys leaked by someone who works on sony, you wont see any cfw. Only downgrade, more homebrew, boring multiman update news, windows blabla works on ps3 news, etc..

No they can't. Appldr can be only so big. Every time they change keys, they have to append new ones to appldr (and other files).

But yeah. They aren't going to change the keys til the old ones are released anyways. Or "just in case" by the time they reach a major release.

They still have plenty of space to add lots of keysets within appldr and that's counting with the mirrored keys table, the fact that appldr can only start from 0x12C00 and onward and the fact that those cannot be stored in the shared LS.
They pretty much could add one new keyset per firmware if they felt like it, at worse they can remove the mirrored key table they have for debugs (not like they really ever used it anyway) and they can add a dozen more keys.

Too bad most people don't know you can use loaders from 3.6x under <3.55 and rebuild...Why find more overflows->keys?

The scene is dead? no..The scene has nobody with talent who is willing to commit so much time in weeks or months of non-paying RCE? yes. Believe it or people who work in engineering, security, and research, don't make six figures and live a life of leisure..

Why not help it instead of making arrogant comment. You know how to do it, if there's nobody with talent who's willing to commit with such task, why not take the role and help the scene?
