Question about ProgSkeet and compatibility

I have buy ProgSceet and I am going to attempt this downgrade method. But there is one thing that is stopping me.

Also, make sure you know for certain, that your model did not come with 3.56+ firmware stock.

I have PS3 Slim model with currently 3.65 firm. I don't know the what was original version.

What will happen if the ps3 was with factory stock 3.56+ and I attempt downgrading? Will I brick it. Can some one give e some more detail information, why I shouldn't attempt downgrading if the console was with factory 3.56+ firmware.

Yes, a brick is very possible. I believe there is a .pkg out there you can run to see how far back you can downgrade, but seeing that your not on CFW you cant do that so it defeats the purpose. I'd sya be safe and buy a preowned you know is pre.356, or even better, buy a 3.55 console

what is the model number of the ps3? the only ones that come with 3.56 or above are the newer type slims, if you have a fat model your good to go.

No, the console is slim.

Are you knowing for shore. I have read several tutorials this is mention only in on of them. I don't have 30 post so I cant give link. Am i talking about the tutorial in the main page of psx-scene .
