Oh and FWIW my console is a CECHJ, but when I pulled it out of the box it had 3.01 Firmware?? I thought this would be the earliest firmware? Oh well I'll have to track down a 1.10 PUP and see what version the PS3 says is the lowest I can go.

Lowest firmware you can install isnt necessarily the stock firmware. I explained it here :
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f6/artic...gitbrew-89080/ (Article: QA Flag Downgrade by gitbrew)

Tried myself to downgrade to 3.40 with a FFXIII cd in and it updated to 3.40 anyway, but it's most likely because it's the lowest firmware my ps3 accepts.

password: OFFLINE reactivate PSN exdata license tool.
copy this blue marked pssword from readme.txt
    or copy blue char strings
or copy it from next line:
OFFLINE reactivate PSN exdata license tool.
psn license backup/restore tool for different consoles.of course,it also works on same console.
    psn was cracked like psp?

anyway, backup your /dev_flash2 and /dev_hdd0/home folders with FTP before you start QA testing!

not for 256M NAND -- guess for safe it does not mount flash device to dev_blink.
(for 256M NAND models, after import exdata with this tool, ftp out/in xregistry.sys, and add account_id, same as COD:BO First Strike DLC Activation. NO tested)

this tool tested on my slim, works good.

dump and compare LV2. guess working method:
it grab 16Byte middle Key(act.key) from original console RAM and restore it to u console,so PSN license works on everyone console.

guess rif file stucture(refer from PSP procfw project): (Xcellerator has another rif explanation, not correct)
    0x8 accountID
    content ID
    content KEY(NPDRM decrypt key)
    Signed data

great! PSN games was full cracked with this simple tool!

Check the barcode sticker on the back of the console, if it says CECHA to CECHG then you're 256mb NAND, if it's CECHH+ then it's a 16mb NOR.. Slims are all NOR also.
oralphie: Will this allow chuck norris to play backups??? PLZ HELP!!!
