Can the wrong psu (wrong voltage and amperage) cause a blinking red light of death?

Hello.
If you use a PSU that has a lower output than the stock one from your model, in the worst case it will power down by itself when the PSU doesn't output enough power.
However if you use a PSU with a higher output than the stock one, you could easily fry the motherboard.
