I've been following this: TutorialInstallebian - PSL1GHT
To give the PSL1GHT SDK install a chance, coz last time I was doing it wrong.
It's been going for over 4 hours... and I feel it just keeps repeating itself at some stage...
Right now, it seems it has halted and stopped working, at the point where it connects to redhat ftp for newlib-1.19.0.tar.gz
I swear this already installed like 2 hours ago...
Is there any way I can test to see if it is repeating itself or what not? Because right now, 4 hours doesn't seem right.
I had the same problem, I had to manually download with a FTP client and place in the right directory, the script will check if its there and wont download.
Seems wget doesn't retry.
Does this mean I gotta restart the whole setup..?
Download the newlib-1.18.0.tar.gz and place it in the ooPo-ps3toolchain/build directory. The build does take some time and "repeats it's self". The toolchain needs to build GCC 8 times, binutils, newlib, gdb, 2 times.
You need to restart from "Now build the toolchain." because the toolchain can't run, say scripts 3 to 10.
Seems that the scripts have been updated. So, if script 3 fails which is newlib for ppu, then run.
And now GCC is only compiled 4 times. I need to update, a lot has changed in 11 days.

I just restarted everything. Gonna leave it all day whilst I play GT5
This will be the last time I bother.. getting tired of wasting time!
The install completed successfully a few hours ago!
