I didin't say you were wrong. I asked you why you for a VALID REASON to run a dedicated web server on a PS3.

Sorry, but this is rather stupid. Of course, the Ps3 is CAPABLE of hosting a web server. As siggen points out, there are devices that plug into a network cable that are basically a single chip system that can handle it. If it's not that obvious that the PS3 **CAN** do such a thing, then perhaps you need a bit more education. As for the part about asking somebody to give you a web server just because, well, sorry, we devs have better things to do than to bow to the requests of every little petty request.
If you still have the undeniable urge, the unquenchable thirst for direct carnal knowledge of a PS3 web server, then by all means, grab the PSL1GHT Ubuntu VM image, and develop one yourself. Release it for all the world to bask in your glory as the renowned author of the worlds only web server for the PS3, as you find your phone ringing off the hook with offers from Sony, Microsoft, and Google as proof of your complete and utter mastery of all things web served.
Meanwhile, I'll be quietly working on more useful things.
Working hard on UberCFW, incorporating NTFS, sub-free NetFlix and Blockbuster, PSN cheat system with built-in swearbot and MAC-spoofing, Adding MKV, RAM and BIK movie support, and Xbox360 emu*.
*not really. Get a life, newbs...
