ps3 slim fan in fat more cooling?

just wondering if anyone as stuck a slim cooling fan into a fat and if so what were the results? does this fan provide more adequate cooling? ive been thinking about trying this for a while just wondering if anyone has. I think im gonna try this and see what happens maybe it would make the fat quieter. Of couse the fan might not fit if the chips are spaced differntly but we shall see.

Spacing and offset of the cpu and gpu look similiar just from googling a few pics of the mobo.

The slim fan is smaller and will push even less air.

Yes but taller and a better designed heatsinks. The fat fan is gigantic in diameter but its very skinny. But the main reason was the noise factor the slim fan is so quiet

Oh yeah, the heatsinks are a little better. I thought you meant just use the fan itself. I don't know if or how it all might fit.

I went nuts with two 360 Heatsinks and fans... GPU runs at 36C!

Well she dont fit haha one way it blocks the hard drive the other it would blow hot air at it. I coukd mount it on some bigass copper blocks but that would be dumb lol. I think ill use it on the other side of the board and take out the power supply which is apparebtly 40% of the heat in the system.

Bomb ass ghetto mod haha itd be nice if you coukd get a heatsink on the ram chips which get pretty hot and the other two big chips which get hot thatd be ylod destroyer. 36c eh thats impressive only other mod I seen that does that is a Freon cooled on lol.
