PS3 Kernel Self Rebuilder and Signer Tools by Anonymous

An anonymous developer has released tools to properly rebuild LVL2 .self files. Pimp My Self is completely written from the ground up although the utility is based off of fail0verflow’s work. The same developer who has gave us Pimp My Self, is also behind PS3SX. Pimp My Self will make it easier for developers who are working on custom firmware’s to resign their work.

This tool is here just for helped you to mods your Kernel self
tested on LV2 kernel 3.41 and LV2 kernel 3.55 so maybe all other
but found bug on sprx .

beware you have a risk of brick if you dont know what you are doing
waninkoko cfw exemple .

usage : PimMySelf.exe versionsuffix input.elf output.self original.self

exemple : PimMySelf.exe 341 PatchedLV2_Kernel_341.elf PatchedLV2_Kernel_341.self LV2_Kernel_341.self

please verify your elf first dont use any broken elf or the ps3 will get this revenge lol .

I'd post this as News, but as I'm a new mod here, I'd hate to step on anyone else's toes. Also, I'm afraid of the shit storm this would create with the newbies asking if this will enable BM's or the like. So, I'm moving this to development, unless another mod has a better place for it.

I wonder if this will work to sign a homebrew lv2diag.self file?

i.e.: PimMySelf.exe 331 newlv2diag.elf lv2diag.self lv2diag_modeoff.self

Using 331 because the keyset doesn't have the right key used to sign the lv2diag.self, though it's known. I'll dump it myself to create the correct keyfiles, since I've already written a tool that can output from the complete set, which I have in XML format.
