I dont know if this will happen (probably will)
I can stream my PC games (maxxed settings) through to the PS3 running Linux.
Crysis, Bioshock, Halo 2 as well as PC emulators all stream through no problems for me
I know its not what you guys want exactly but this is better imo
    google "Stream my game"

This is just another annoying thread by non-developers demanding new things.
THAT IS NOT HOW DEVELOPMENT WORKS.
for one thing i didnt start this thread, and no one is demanding anything. we are just throwing ideas around. i think you need to settle down a bit and relax

1º i am not demanding anything.
2º I thought it was a great place to discuss this idea, otherwise i'd not be posting.

The way I understand it is the PC is playing the game normally, and sending the video signal to a server running in Linux on the PS3. The server listens for commands from the controller, and sends those commands to the PC. The PC receives them as if they were given by the keyboard or mouse, the game reacts accordingly, and the updated video is sent to the ps3 again. So the PS3 isn't rendering graphics or running the game at all. It's like an optimized VNC session. I remember hearing about a service that did this a few years ago, but I'm not sure if it's the same thing opiate81 is talking about.
