You don't need to really, the PS1 minis are Eboot.pbp. So once the PSP is working the PSX games should work toQuote:

I agree. I am not going to get too excited about it yet but i am sure there is a PSPemu folder that sony uses for the ps3 to run the minis.Quote:

Well there IS a psp, ps1, and ps2 emu located on the flash of the ps3. Anyone who has the ftp program probly could have told you that as you can look through all the folders. I noticed it the first night it came out.
It wont take long before we figure out how to do it. Then you can play every sony playstation game on the system. I have a slim and the emus are located on the flash so that tell me that the slim really does have backwards comp. and sony is just bush*ting us.
So i guess psp homebrew will work. We can go PS3>PSP>Mega Drive etc
I never had a psp mini. I guess they get upscaled to full screen right???
