Problems Decrypting BIN file
Problems Decrypting BIN file –
I've looked around the net and found numerous guides as to how to decrypt EBOOT_BIN files. I'm just experimenting at the moment with how the whole thing pieces together but I've come across a big problem. Whenever I come to decrypt a bin file using the command 'unself EBOOT_BIN EBOOT_ELF' the cygwin prompt looks as though it has decrypted the file (no errors) but when I look at the EBOOT_ELF the contents resembles the same as the BIN file.
I've install all the necessary keys in the 'bin' folder for cygwin as well as 'home' so it should be converting them.
Is there something else that I should be typing in order for it to covert?
Open the files in a hex editor. If its encrypted it will begin with .SCE decrypted it will be .ELF very beginning of the file in the editor.
