    Hello,

    I have very strange problem wile tempting to flash Samsung NOR chip.
    I am using Progskeet and WinSkeet40000 flashing program.

    I read the NOR with no problem. But when I try to write it it gave error when Verifing sectors from 2048 to 3438 :

    [2011-10-01T13:00:36] Verifying sector 2048
    [2011-10-01T13:00:36] Verification of sector 2048 failed
    //-//-//-//-//-//-/all sectors in bitwin/-//-//-//-//-//-//-//
    [2011-10-01T13:00:46] Verifying sector 3438
    [2011-10-01T13:00:46] Verification of sector 3438 failed

    It give me the same error even if I try to erase some of this sectors. So I assume the are in read only status.

    When I write the original NOR there is no error and the console work. But I assume the program cant write it again and the sector are not tauched and they are with the original information, thats why there is no error.

    I try many times. What ever I try the same sectors are with error.

    I check the chip and tes it with multimeter every thing seems to be correct. But if there is nothing els to try will resolder and solder it again.

    I have flash SAMSUNG NOR befor, some times I get error but in different sectors and with some attempts all is ok. But this one is different I just cant write on this same sectors what ever I try.

    The console is CECH-2004A with data code 9B. I receive it with version 3.66.

    Any ideas?

    Where I can download it?

    I re-solder the chip and I get the same thing. Its like this sectors are read only.

    Edit :

    I found the newer version of Winskeet4000. I will try today with it.
