eScienceCommons: New theories reveal the nature of numbers

Any PS3 devs see this yet? Although I'm no math genius, I was wondering if this work could be used to break some or all forms of public key cryptography. Not that we really need it now, but it could be useful in the future.

    Short answer No.

Long answer, I didn't read the article, but if this can be used for any computer use, I'd bet it can take 20 to 50 years before we have anything. And then It would be used for maybe better encryption techniques.

I dont even intend to look at the daunting proof they might have, other than acknowledge it as a proof if it survives peer review.
