no WP# testpoint, vss, installing up progskeet, dia-002 –
ok i have a dia-002 board and i found this information on it...
DIA-002: the pinout is same as DIA-001, the only difference is that DIA-002 doesnt have a WP# testpoint but since it's connected to VCC its not needed.
does this mean that i do not connect the wp# point on my progskeet crystal blue to anything at all, or does it mean i connect the wp# point to the vcc point on the ps3 board.
also on the dia-002 their are 10 vss points, their are only 5 on progskeet, so what do i do with the 5 spare points on the ps3 board do i double up connections so 2 wires go to one vss point on the progskeet?
thank you for any help provided.
ok, anyone having the same trouble, you do not connect the #wp point from the progskeet to the ps3 board at all its just left, i then doubles up the vss (grd) connections so i had 2 vss from ps3 board going to 1 point on the progskeet. i did that for all 10 vss conections on the ps3 mainboard. after all this i downgraded fine from 3.61 to 3.55 following the usual tutorial.
anyone having issues with the winskeet40000 being stuck at 0% 1 % and 16% i'd make sure that the vcc point has a nice connection it is a bugga to solder on this board for some reson once that had a nice connection i had no problems at all.
I have the same problem. The program wont dump. It stuck on Dumping address 0x0.
I have wired 4 VSS points. What can be the problem.
