Hey guys,

I am not that much of a programmer myself, but considering the latest development with using Kinect on a STOCK console, so without jailbreak got me thinking.

The only possible ways to achieve that are emulating the controller signals via bluetooth or USB, wouldn´t it be also possible then, to emulate those signals for normal keyboard or mouse signals ?

So basically let the PC convert the signal of the keyboard and send them via bluetooth to the PS3 so we can use our keyboard in games instead of the controller.

If this already has been discussed or if it is just a bunch of crazy ideas, facepalm me, sorry to have wasted your time.

Mathieulh already have done it, even with a ps/2 keyboard.
More than one year ago...with a bluetooth dongle USB ...guess the type...
sames dongle who come fro greedy team fews months ago.

The indian dude didn t do so much, Mathieulh did the most with DIYCONTROLERPS3

But the indian dude give to himslef the credits.

Good news is Mathieulh ll probably release on pkg the keyboard controller to get the credit back (with reasons)

Maybe a little more specific go to diy-machine.blogspot.com and read up on the tutorial.

I've even used his stuff to use a wired Xbox360 controller on the PS3, was a little laggy but that might have been running ubuntu from a flash drive on my laptop not being up to snuff for everything that was going on.

The Bluetooth dongle you use has to be able to have the mac address changed, I bought a $4 dongle off amazon and it could not be changed, but the built in Bluetooth in my laptop could. If I remember right he recommends a CSR Bluecore4 dongle.

I would love to have my xbox 360 controllers work wirelesly with the ps3, i hate those crappy ps3 controllers, is like they are made for midgets lol

Honestly, I hope that when he gets around to porting his work to windows that we will be able to use the pc wireless adapter for 360 controllers

To me that would be the ultimate.
