What I want to do is make a 2D game with a developer for homebrew.
What i'll be using to animate is adobe flash CS4
but i'm not sure if that's ok to make a 2D game for PS3 with someone but if not tell me the software that you should use, because I don't want to make a boring game of pong.
So what I can do?
and who's interested, tell me the kind of game well be making.
PS3 game development is done in C/C++, not flash.
Grab some books, check the torrent's for evilsperm's PS3 SDK Unbuntu release. There is documentation in his release for developing software. It's a good place to start.
You will also need to be familiar with OpenGL (Sony has their own version) and I believe the SDL libs. If you plan on using text, familiarize yourself with the OpenType font libraries. That will allow you to put a score up, and do some animated graphics.

also I'm not doing the developing as in the code and all the stuff I don't understand.
But I'll be doing the animation due to the fact that most of the stuff being released is completely void of creativity (excluding Cubicle shooter which is "ok" but everything else is terribad in terms of creativity (I don't really know what to say for it but maybe the right words are bland and not fun))

I'm not familiar with making things in 3D but i'll learn about it since i've seen extreme realism achieved with it.

When I wrote MXM for the original Xbox, the most basic routines I had to write were to display textured rectangles in 3D space, to simply display 2D bitmaps or fonts on the screen. Until the very late stages, I did everything on a 2D "plane" - but underlying all that code was the 3D engine.
At the end, I was adding support for 3D manipulation of the text and 3D meshes.
...and that was just a "simple" menu system.
I might be interested in the future. I'm currently trying to get re-situated since my eviction (gotta find a job and go back to school) so I'm a bit focused on that. But a month down the line I could help.
