Hello, I will appreciate every help I get.

Here is what I have :

    Ps3 Slim 160 GB console CECH-2504A
    Samsung K8P2716UZC-QI4D NOR
    JSD-001 Motherboard
Progskeet 1.0 (the wight one) with r8 and r4 removed and switch on r7.

Here is my problem : when the program is reading I get errors on random sectors.
I am using WinSkeet40000_111004 latest flasher. I try with two older versions same thing, get error on some sectors.

I use Spansion N default setting, try to enter them menual 128/128 nothing help.

But when I use Progskeet beta flasher program I don't get errors and the dumps are identical. I don't want to mess it up so I will ask for some advice.

What I did till now :

[1] I solder the chip with r8 removed and r7 with switch (r4 was on). Get error.

[2] I check 2 times the wires with multimeter - all ok , test again - ERRORS

    [3] I re-solder the chip - Errors.

[4] Check with multimeter - all OK, test again - ERRORS

[5] I desolder the chip. I put the console together, test if it working (all ok) and put it in the box.

[6] After few days I resolder r4 on ProgSkeet and use the same chip to downgrade 2 consoles (cech-2004b Slim and CECHK04 80GB fat) successfully. So the problem isn't in the chip. It is working perfectly. And I could easily read/dump the NOR of this 2 consoles.

[7] Today I solder the progskeet chip on this console (that give me so much trouble) again and I get the same situation. I get errors on some sectors.

I don't know what is the problem. I used the same chip, same computer, same USB cable , same software to downgrade many consoles. I have downgrade K8P2716UZC-QI4D before with no problem.

    Give me some advice.

I realy hope some one will help.

I am trying to figure it out for more than week now.

Here is what I try now, but again nothing change :

I use 10kOhm resistor rdy-VCC and try to dump. I get several errors on some sectors on verification.

Then i solder 100kOhm resistor nor_rdy - rdy and try to dump. It start so good, but in he middle I get verification error on 1 sector, only one. Try again - f*ck, many sectors with error. Try seceral times - errors, errors, errors ...

Please advice what else I can try. Different resistors?

Here is a picture after I solder the resistors :

sounds like a solder issue, double check you solder joints, re-flow them

If you read my first post in full you will see that I already resolder the chip 3 times and did many checks with multimeter.
