I`ll try it.
If I succeed then someone must reverse vsh.self to find the button combo.
@ user - can you implent it in a 3.41 cfw ?
Or do we need first a dual boot linux ?
With this it is done for good with sony, if i'm getting this right?
in theory it should work on 3.41 CFW.

i hope someone cloned it...
This is really interesting. So what do we have to do though? We have to do reversing on everything or just wait for the button combo? Confusing
does any1 already tested it?
which firmware should i use? kmeaw, geohot or rebug?
either version that supports OtherOS should work. After that someone must come up with idea how to obtain the KEY combo (that might be used on OFW) from vsh.self
it works, you can read and write that flag. but i did not reboot into gameos, because i'm not interested in turning my ps3 into a pseudo-debug one.

BTW: can someone give me the vsh.self? i wanna try some IDA pro magic lol
If I understand correctly you need linux to write the flag. I guess the peeps on 3.60 are still out of luck.
