01-10-2011,10:30 AM
Just wondering what I need to compile the fail0verflow tools and the geohot tool I want to start converting my disc games into psn games, the guide itself was easy enough just need help compiling the tools I already have the sources.
I am running window 7 64-bit

If you can't compile them, you shouldn't be using them. The tools are for custom firmware and hombrew. Meaning you're either a programmer (making homebrew) or you computer savvy enough to hack together a pup (custom firmware). Either way, you'd be knowledgeable enough to compile the tools. I assume this is for homebrew. Meaning you'll want access to geohot's tools, which haven't been updated since they were last compile for windows. Meaning, yes, he should have read before posting. Fail0verflow tools mostly don't work, and the ones that do haven't been updated in a while. The last post in the [WIN32] thread was posted yesterday saying the compiled tools have been updated. So shh :P
