So I'm trying to figure out a way.....
I have tried the old method of a simple param.sfo edit on two different out dated versions.....
Tried an old eboot with the newest version. so far nothing has worked. any suggestions?
Oh and can anyone point me in the right dirrection to find v 2.01?

well if u dont care about hdmi you could boot it from a netflix ps2 disc. dl the ps2 netflixs burn and play off of the ps3. that is currently the only way.

First off by changing the SFO you are only really changing data like what version the app is so this is needed if you trying to get an older version of Netflix to boot but otherwise wont do you any good. For the eboot you can't simply put the new eboot with the old files and expect it to work because the eboot holds the code witch allows the app to run so your mixing two versions of different things together and the app doesn't know what to do so it wont start up on your ps3. What you really need to do is download the latest version of Netflix from somewhere then open up SFO and lower the firmware requirements and then open the eboot for editing and compare it with an older eboot (one that works on 3.55) and see what to change to make it run properly. That should be enough to get you started!

problem is decrypting the current eboot. been trying a few different things but this is just one of those things that just will not happen without the latest keys.

Your right I guess you will have to settle with using an older version of Netflix (3.55 supported) so that you could decrypt the eboot
