Is there any way to unbrick a ps3 WITHOUT a backup of your flash memory?
If so, can someone please give a link, because I cannot find anything about this on Google.
Thanks

how did you brick it?
My PS3 was recently downgraded from the latest firmware, to 3.55.
So when I tried to install Rebug, it bricked.
Now, when I hit the power button, it beeps, lights go off and it looks like the PS3 is off, but It is actually still on!
So I hit the power button again, and all the fans stop.
I know this may be a stupid ?
Did you reset Video mode by holding until first beep

Is how all good gaming systems came to beIf you haven't flashed anything to the consoles nor since you soft bricked it, than you can still get a bios dump from the console. You need to solder a wire from the sbe point on the e3 ribbon cable to the nor tristate on your motherboard. Then you put a sd card in the e3 flasher and put switch 1 up and turn the ps3 console on. It should turn on and stay on a black screen. Wait for a few seconds and then put switch 3 up and hit start on the e3 flasher. It should light up the blue lights one by one until they all light up and go back to alternating 4 then 4. Then take the sd card out and put it in your computer. Check the dumps for validity by using hxd editor and Flowrebuilder. After you confirm they are valid, then you will put the bios back in the e3 flasher and with switch 1 up turn ps3 on. Wait for a few seconds and then hit start on the e3 flasher. After the blue lights all light up and begin to alternate 4 and 4, you will take the ad card out and put the e3downgrade.bin on the sd card WITH the bios still on there nd put it back in the e3 flasher. DO NOT TURN THE CONSOLE OFF while doing the last step I mentioned. After it is back in the flasher, put switch 1 and 3 back down and put switch 6 up. So all down and 6 up, then hit the reset button ON THE FLASHER, and wait for the blue lits to come back, then hit start. Wait, when it is done, you will turn the console off by pressing and holding the power button, then turn it back on, switch it off on the back of the console, then put in fsm dongle and power eject, console turns itself off, then lvl2diag from step 1 folder and rogero.pup on USB, put it in right USB port, turn on, wait, turns off, then lvl2diag from step 2 folder on USB, put it in right USB port, turn on, turns off. Voila. Should be fixed and on rogero cfw. Then toggle qa flag and install ofw 3.55 then install whatever cfw you won't.
