As the title says, is it possible to downgrade a PS3 using the LPC-H2148? I used it to JTAG my Xbox 360, I know that's a NAND and this is a NOR but...is it possible? I'd rather not have to buy a Progskeet or Teensy++. Also, if I DO have to buy something else instead, does it matter whether it's the Teensy++ 1.0 or 2.0? Ta.
The software needed to interface with the nor chip does not exist at this time and as far as i am aware, nobody is going to work on it. Feel free to do this yourself, but if you were able to do this im assuming you would not be here asking.
My advice, bite the bullet and get the progskeet, or the Teensy++ if your decent at soldering. Maybe even get a couple buddies keen to all chip in and downgrade all your consoles.
