Disable multiman display modes
Disable multiman display modes –
11-20-2012,08:48 AM
Hello
Is there a way to disable some display modes from multiman?
It's annoying to press 10 times R1 to get to the display mode i like.
Anyone know's how to disable or remove display mode's from multiman?
Thanks

There's a display mode lock in the settings menu. You can set it to load a certain one on startup and to lock it so you don't accidentally switch to one you don't like. You can find it in the TMB or XMB clone menu in the second menu

I know that but it's not working for me since i want to use 2 display modes and switch fast between them the rest i just dont want to have.
For now if i wanna switch between the 2 i first need to get trough 8 or more diffrent display modes.
But if i just can remove the unwanted display modes than i can switch between the 2 very fast.
Is there a way to do that or can only deank do it?

at current only one, if it were possible I think Dean would have already implemented it, but you never know what is possible when it comes to Dean and mM

I think it should be possible to disable unwanted display modes.
It's really the only thing that annoys me in multiman.
Maybe if we could ask Dean he could implement it.
But how do we gonna ask it to him?

just put a request in the mM thread/forum and if he thinks it's a good idea he'll try his best to implement it
Edit: he checks regularly, just don't PM (he's got too many) he don't answer or read those

yeah, it's hard coded in the eboot I believe. Deank is very good about taking suggestions if they're good ones. He's taken a few of mine over the last year or so. Like bitsbubba said, just don't send him a PM. It will probably be ignored
