Bricked ps3 slim when downgraded 3.55 > 3.41

Well, I tried to downgrade a slim 3.55 to 3.41 firmware and now he doesn't turn on for more than 4 seconds (make a noise and turns off again).

I read something about e3flasher and teensy that can help to fix it. Sony reseller said that the price is about 500 reais (250 dollars) to fix it (changing the motherboard of my ps3)

So, any solutions for my problem?

Do not use the Sony reseller. The NOR/NAND chip that your firmware is stored is on your motherboard. If you replace it, then you're likely to get 3.55+ firmware on it. You are better off trying to use a E3 or Teensy if you're good at that kind of thing. Otherwise, try to find a hackable system on Ebay.

By the way, why were you trying to downgrade to 3.41?

i know sony doesn't really know stuff about law but still you can insist on getting it back on the firmware it was , otherwise you can sue them.

I tried this a few months ago, for use cobra usb.

But is possible to change the firmware with E3, if I can't put my ps3 on for more than 4 seconds?

What model was the PS3, what firmware did it come stock with?

correct me if im wrong here, but i've always read/been told that the ps3 slim cannot run 3.41 because it was released with higher fw (not sure which exactly) while im sure there are fixes...if it aint broke in the first place.........you know the rest.

Yes you're wrong. The first slims can downgrade down to 2.70

What kind of sound? bips or sth like that? I had a similar problem but without any noise. downgrade was finished? Maybe you were already downgrading your console and somehow the process was interrupted. The first time i tried to downgrade my ps3, i turned off console while i was downgrading because it was taking a ot of time with the pendrive i was using. My ps3 as same as yours, just turn on green light for some seconds and then power off. I used amazebreak and my psp to storage files required to downgrade again (I follow every step again) and finally my ps3 came back to normal. I hope it helps you.
