bluray remarry?

Hi all am new to all this so i am sorry if i have put this in the wrong place so here goes....
i have a fat 60gb ps3 that has comletly died so i have bought anuther one of ebay there both exacly the same mb model numbers and both cechc03 only problem is the one i bought of ebay didnt come with a bluray drive so i went ahead and but the bluray from the dead ps3 in to the one with no bluray drive turned it on it accepts discs ejects them can here it spinning but does not show anythin on the dashboard(where u see the disc icon) not sure what its called...so my question is is there anyway i can get it to work? ooo its ofw3.72 thanks in advance sorry for my poor grammer

you're SOL till you downgrade that ps3 to remarry the drive. you can remarry on 3.55 now, but not on 3.72 unfortunatly. so you will have to downgrade it and then remarry the br board.
