How can i check (with defective Blu-ray) whetter the logic board is still intact ??
I can install .pkg-s but executing results in black sceens. I'm on original 3.41 with JB tru dongle.
When i saw the news about the self of Jaicrab, i thought directely to make apologies to PLAYER1.
I missunderstood what he meant (since i didn't go to Jaicrab's blog).
@jaxc: Open up your console & verify if the daughterboard of the blueray is burned in any part or not (like i did).
Or,verify the signed pkg and reinstall it again.
I will report here about the RSOD situation if anyone is following.
I verified the daughterboard and no visual defects, but still i cant seem to manage to run .pkg-s in jailbreak modus. The blu-ray drive is completely disassembled, (upper housing is removed). But i hope the daughterboard should be fine, otherwise i think i cant insert jailbreak it relies on "power" " eject" function, which only works if there is no blu-ray in the drive (this is monitored thru the daughterboard).
No chance still having the damn RSOD even by removing the battery...
Too bad, i am going to put aside now & going to play the wii

Then i think that your daughterbord is fine and works (someone correct me if i am wrong) and you should install PKG's signed to 3.41.
Of course, it must be connected to the motherboard or you will have the BSOD.

My PS3 CECHK04 80gb recently have broken during update system in service mode ( i know it's a big mistake but i didn't know it). After that i on screen was appearing a RSOD. I did have any idea what i should have done so i took my ps3's hdd out and formated in PC. Now my ps3 is bricked (green flashlight on PS3, PS3 shuts down after 10 sec) and i can't fix it. If you have any ideas, please tell me. I will be gratefull. I tried everything. Thanks
I know that they recommend to flash the OFW 3.55 which is BDB 3.55 for us with faulty drive then install KMEAW BDB SDC 3.55 FW. But has anyone tried going to service mode then use the lv2diag.self and flash it to KMEAW BDB SDC 3.55 FW?
will this work for the black screen on all pkg problem? ... due to bad blu ray board (i think)
No. I'm still waiting on that too. With all that's going on here, I figure it's just a matter of time.
