I have a ps3 with 3.41 already installed, I dont know how to downgrade to 2.30 How do you use the bdb, Im in service mode, Do you install the bdb to a flash drive with the normal 2.30 pup? Where do I get these files.

I tried to put the bdb and the 2.30 pup on a flash drive, but just boots to xmb, what am I missing?

There is an application called Ps3mfw Builder v.02 that will allow you to do more than just patch the ability to install a CFW on a ps3 without a BD drive.

you will have to clone the tasks from here:git://git.gitbrew.org/ps3/ps3mfw/tasks.git

and put them in the ps3mfw builder v02 you get from git hacks.

No, this firmware only makes it possible to install firmware without a working logic board (a normal firmware would give you update loop). However if you're on CFW and you have a working logic board, you can remarry).
