I salvaged a dead CECHG01 with Bluray drive in it (can I test if that is still working?)

Also, I have a CECHA01 that works, but has no bluray drive.

Can I put the BD from G01 in the A01 and make it work? Any links would help...

Thats if he has the daughter boards for the drives as well. If you dont then the ps3 is worthless. If you have the daughter board for the CECHA01 just buy a new drive and install it.

you can downgrade without a logic board. once your downgraded you can marry a working logic board

If both the logic boards are working, I'm pretty sure you can just switch the logic boards, and it'll work...
