AppLinks for PS3 - Idea

I was browsing through my game library last night, and realized that it was a little difficult browsing through the game directory due to them being called by their title ID.

Being an iPhone user, I SSH into my phone all the time to install and modify things on the phone, and an app that has become very valuable for me is AppLinks, and I think it could be of great usefulness for the PS3 also..

Would it be possible to have a small app run, just to read the data in your "game" folder and make links to a folder called game_links or something, that would show the full name of the game, instead of it's title ID.

I wish I would have the skill to do this myself, unfortunately my programming skills go as far as a 2 semester course in college (before turning to network admin.. haha)

Just thought I would put the idea out there and if it generates enough interest something of the sort might pop up at some point..

I would also believe that this could be done simple enough, but like i said, i'm no programmer...

For example, Multiman can give you the title name and not the title ID within the app, so I would imagine this could be adapted to create a list of shortcuts instead..

Going one step back, would be to read the title ID's and send that to a file... Even PC side, log into FTP and it makes a list form the title ID's, a personalized reference manual for your files.

Just my idea..
