I think it might be useful if we'd collect some information about files of /dev_flash that can be modded without risking a RSOD and ones that give RSOD including how it can be fixed
(recovery menu or service mode)
what i've heard so far:
RSOD:
-some sprx (fix: recovery menu)
ok to mod:
-xml
-rco

Anything that ACIDCFW are messing with I would imagine is fair game. I permanently wrote AcidCFW onto my PS3's flash two days ago. It's been working fine. So yea that would be the best place to start. Dig through the download and see which files are used for their CFW.
