Adding drivers for other controllers?
Adding drivers for other controllers? –

Just wondering whether it would be possible/difficult to somehow add drivers or other methods to allow jailbroken PS3's to use other usb controllers? I'd like to use a wired xbox360 on the system without using laggy converters etc.
Thanks for any help

I know nothing about drivers but I believe the official SDK has a usb library. The problem is, you could only MAKE applications that use the 360 controller, you couldn't add support for it to the PS3 for commercial games. For that to take place, we'll need a custom firmware option and a good hacker to play around with w/e file contains instructions for handling the controller.

I see, so for now would that mean USB support for homebrew apps such as emulators are possible?

If the USB library can accomplish that and if someone codes it and adds it to the source of the project, yes.
