Simple question, has anyone tried to just move files from psp to ps3 via ftp, i
know there's a lot more to it, with the eboots and everything but what if you
use ps3 eboot to launch the game? use some of the ps3 files to be able to "run"
the game but using the psp's game file's to run the actual game.
bump, i was able to get the game to load in the backup manager :), but when it
go's back to the XMB the disc is there, but it says (? Unsupported Data) then
when you look under the information tab under that disc it state's the name of
the game you put there. :)
how did you get it to appear in backup manager.
The psp games are eboots are they not. Wht if you conver to iso and extract it to a folder and place where the games go.

From what im looking at there is no picture like a game, and i have bleach iso
trying to run, and it says "bleach 7", guessing backup manager
doesnt like korean writing it launches from backup manager to the xmb and it
show's what i stated above.
Edit* Psp game's are ISO's themselves but i extracted the game file's themselves and put them in the ps3, i feel like im one step away from fixing it, but i need a lil more
help.

By the look of it, all you did was get a PSP EBOOT and try to run it on PS3.
I suggest we wait for this "Famous Russian hacker" to speak up, if it is real, if not then wait for a PSP emulator such as JPSP to be ported.
yea "help out", at least im trying something most then other's, i feel like i have to mess with the param.sfo and emulate the UMD part to a PS3 so it can actually boot

Why not contact SuperGamer and ask him how he got it working since he obviously is further along in the process? Yes, I saw his video and he described it as a "very complex" process. Maybe get in touch with him and see if there's anything you can help out with.

TC how are you helping anyway? It's not that simple to play psp games on the ps3. Just sit your ass down and watch everything unfold. This scene has exploded much much faster than the psp scene. And let me tell you, the psp scene didn't take too long to get up and running.
This is why nobody replies to your thread. You haven't the faintest idea of what you're doing. If you're going to devote your time to something completely useless, why don't you 'try to run' a Sega Saturn game or something? Maybe if you write 'PS3 Blu-Ray' on the Saturn disc, it'll play.Quote:
