The thing is that I used to make a account before the ps3 came out and I forgot which email address I used for it. When you call sony they won't give you the email that you used for the account and I wonder why that is. Anyone know if there is a way to retrieve the email that you used for a account or is anyone working on a way to find out?
Try to look in xregistry.sys
its in /dev_flash2/etc u can use a editor.

Wait how does that work? Do I just put in the psn account that I want to know the email adress of or something or is this a misunderstanding because I made this PSN account way back when you had a site where you could make ps3 names before the ps3 was released in europe. It's just that I don't know what email adress I used for that name. How does that program find out what email adress I used because that account is not on my ps3 or anything.

What firmware are you on? If you're on kmeaw, this should work:
Dashhacks :: PS3-Hacks :: PS3 FTP Server 1.2
If your on geohot/Wutangrza, go search blackbox ftp signed for geohot (or this MIGHT work).
Then download asbestos installer:
Dashhacks :: PS3-Hacks :: AsbestOS Installer v2.0
And run the installer, press x, and go to black box. Type the IP you see in FileZilla (or whatever FTP client you want to use), and no username or password is needed (anonymous). Go to the area users above are talking about, get that file, transfer to your computer, and edit it to see your accounts. Please note that I told you about homebrew I use. There are many other wars to get access to that area. I hope I helped. :D
Btw if your on geohot/wutangrza, it's time to switch over to kmeaw.
