[Request] Move/Rename main.c for Project
I've been working on a little project for a while now. It turns a PS3 game into a PSN package (or set) that is installed etc. It patches the EBOOT with premade patches which saves a ton of space. Then (if necessary) it puts the data into a subfolder:
The contents of that folder are move to a folder in the root with the naming convention:Code:
It's been working out so far, but last night I had an idea. What if I could make an EBOOT that did the following:Code:
1. Created the folder /dev_hdd0/G/U00000/USRDIR
2. Move /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS00000/USRDIR/MoveMe contents to /dev_hdd0/G/U00000/USRDIR
3. Merged files if necessary.
4. Renamed EBOOT.ORG to EBOOT.BIN replacing the current running app
The idea is, instead of using the correctly patched EBOOT.BIN in the pkg file, I'd instead rename it to EBOOT.ORG and make this program EBOOT.BIN. The first time someone runs the newly installed PSN title it would run this program which would set the game up the rest of the way automatically then exit. The next time the game is ran it's the games EBOOT with the data everywhere it's needed.
I've managed to set the dev workspace up and compile the samples, however they're not exactly helpful for what I need done. I understand them for the most part. What I'd like is just a sample of each of what I need. That or a good reference page on the commands. I don't want a universal approach however. I plan to make one for every game that requires it since the EBOOT will be tiny and compress well and I can hard code the move and merge commands.
If any one could do this for me, I don't mind if you leave an output of your user name or nick name on each of the compiles I make using this. It's mainly just a step saver so a PSN title can be installed from start to finish without a browser or FTP.
I also plan to hardcore the merge since the way I'm splitting the files is literally cutting the file into 2+ pieces. So a simple JOIN of some sort would be great.

Again, any help would be great since I'm at a bit of an impasse.Code:
