X-men legends getting green screen of death

very wierd problem. I been playing this game for hours and now that i get to the first sentinel thats like a spider platform thing the screen just turns green. sound still going but the game has stopped. this first happend on the HDLoader used original disc to put on the HD now i also tried a DVD backup and doesn't work still haven't tried the orginal disc lent it to a friend as soon as i get it back i will try but does anyone have any idea whats going on?

Arrrrrrrrr, sounds like a corrupt image ta me. Had that happen a few times...often a result of one little scratch/smudge/fingerprint/etc on the original so it was.

Actually, its not a corrupt image problem. Its a legitimate bug that's even present in the original pressed version of the game. The only way around it (that i have heard/tried) is to use a previous save point and play past the area where you were having the problem (be sure to overwrite that particular save game, since its corrupt).

I did that and it worked for me.

Arrrr, I've played the game all the way through, so I have, and am now working to gather all the Extreme Gear and character skins. Never encountered yon green screen. What system/chip ya got? I be on a V9 w/***3

Arrr, that be interesting. Did ye upgrade the bios on that chip or are ye running on yon original bios. I am on the original bios. Haven't had a need ta upgrade it really.

Arrrrrrr, just ta let ye all know, on playing me way through the game for the second time, I too am getting yon green screen of death as well. Blow me down this is a disappointin' so it is.

ya i've tried playing it like 20 times from my last save after like 10 seconds of playing always get the green screen so now i don't even bother with it lol.
