Hi m8, first of all pleez be so kind to change your topic title so sumthing decent like:
corrupted format after converting PAl game to NTSC
secondly u cant really convert a PAL game to NTSC i believe, u patch them (fixing the Y and X as i assume)
and last but not least did u ever succesfully patched a PAL game to NTSC with the patcher u use?
did u try any others?
try www.sksapps.com for PAL to NTSC patchers.

goodluck m8
ahaha advice tooken. topic changed. i used the pal-nstc converter from sksapp. when i used it it said found 3 patches and completed but when i try to burn it wont play.
VERY IMPORTANT: you will never see the complete picture on your TV when patching from PAL to NTSC. This is because PAL has more height resolution (more lines) than NTSC. If the PAL game is not fullscreen (has 2 small black bars at top and bottom) then it may be possible to watch the whole picture in NTSC. Usually you will lose some part of the bottom picture. With the correct Y-FIX offset you can minimize this problem. I think also that with the proper amount of Y-FIX OFFSET you can split the lost lines between the top and the bottom of screen.
If you choose an OFFSET to high the game may not work or be unplayable.
** For starting i recommend you to use 32. **
I assume you tried this tutorial ?

I had a matrix chip from the beginning, so i really dont have any experience with this.
i understand that part but it wont even play or recognize after the patch. i know that i am doing it right because i converted a pal game before and it work but the game i am trying now wont.
well. what game is it ? U googled for it yet ?
its the game black. i googled it but it was just saying how people were playing it on hd. but no one said anything about playing it in the nstc format.
ok, i have that game too, am gonna try it right now, did u used the 'make PN selector' option ?
@mann75: do you have a mod-chip that allows you to play games from different regions? If not, then maybe that's the problem?
yeah the infinity with firmware 1.85.
broodje; i dont use the pn selecter. should i have????
