What ver. of firmware should i use for Pioneer A05?

1. What version of firmware should I be using for Pioneer A05?

2. How do I find out the version it is using now?

3. and how risky is it in updating the drives firmware? I heard it can screw up the drive if not careful..

4. Where is a reliable source for downloads?

http://forum.firmware-flash.com/portal.php is the best place for firmware and info.
Get 1.30 2x4all and 12x rip here. This will allow for 2x burning on 1x media, most noteworthy being Ritek G03.

i have a AO5 and it came with the 1.30 firmware from pioneer....
