what is recommend for ps2 dvd backup?

i have messiah 2 pro on US V7, 39001, i've burnt ps2 dvd games at 2x on dvd-r, dvd+r (memorex), and 2.4x dvd+rw (sony and verbatim brand) on sony DRX-500UL. they all play fine on my ps2, but is it recommend to play games burnt on dvd+rw for ps2???

v7s tend to like dvd+ media better..... and they definately play dvd-rw, so i dont see why not

my console, exactly the same as yours, loves dvd-rw
