What brand to burn CDR backups with?

how do u know if media is good for your ps2? mine is pretty new and i use verbatim and a cheap brand, precision. the load times seems the same, and movies etc. dont skip, so can i assume the precision are fine ?

Hi i have a cd burner! but why i can´t burn a dvd-rw disc? it´s says put in a cd/dc-rw disc! Must i have dvd to burn a game into dvd-rw disc? i mean i have cd-bruner and i gone buy dvdrom then i put the dvd-rw disc into dvdrom and than i can burn???!

it's a dvd-rom drive that can write read cds, write cds and READ dvds...
someone correct me if im wrong

also, it would help if you tell us which model and...PLEASE, DO A SEARCH ON GOOGLE OR THE MANUFACTURER SITE!!!

I mean a DVDrom not dvd-writer! if i have a DVD-rom can DVDrom write games into dvd-rw disc! and why it can´t burn cd! (If i have dvd in my computer than i can burn dvd-rw disc! and i dont need a dvdwriter!

A dvd-rom can't burn dvd's, it can only read dvd's. ( if it can write dvd's you call it a dvd writer .....)

If you want to burn dvd's (dvd-r, dvd-rw, dvd+r or dvd+rw) you still need a dvd-rewriter.

If you want to burn games bigger than 800 or 900 mb (there are 800/900mb cd-r's), you can only burn it on a dvd-r or rip them,I think...
