Verbatim DVD-R in a spindle of 20 for $24
Verbatim DVD-R in a spindle of 20 for $24 –
They seem to be some kind of generic Verbatium. The ones I have say verbatim on them.I would like one of the pro's on this site to give thier thoughts on if these are good for PS2 burning.Thats a great price if can burn PS2 on them, now I pay $50 for 10 shipped.
Well, no comment on the Staples deal as I don't have a store near me, but I thought I'd pass this along from the alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2.dvdiso group where I also hang out. Haven't tried them myself yet as I still have an ample supply of Apples on-hand...
If you live in, or near the United States, I definetly have to support Optodisc. They work like a charm. I've never had a bad burn and I very highly recommend them. If you want them with jewel cases, you can get them at newegg. If you don't mind buying them on a spindle, you can get them right now at googlegear.com in a 50 pack for $64.00(I don't know how long this deal will last or if it's their new standard price). That's roughly $1.28 per blank disc. A very good deal IMO.
If they work well for you and you want to purchase more, before ordering, double check the following 3 websites to make sure you are getting the best deal at the time.
Sometimes they have crazy sale prices and it's worth it to shop around.
I've tried the Optodisc while I was waiting for my verbatims to ship and it did not boot, all 10 of the verbatim Ive burned have booted.
the description for them says that they are for the pioneer S201 dvd recorder. I believe that is an authoring drive that costs upwards of $3000. The point is, dvr-103,104,a03,and a04 will not be able to burn the discs if they are authoring discs. The drives listed are all general dvd-r burners. So they need general dvd-r's.
