Using CodeBreaker 9

Background: I bought my CodeBreaker 8.1 a week before 9.0 was released, so naturally I was annoyed. Knowing that CB7 and up has wicked encryption, I looked everywhere for a way to bypass it. I ended up figuring out this method:

(REQUIRES CodeBreaker 8)
1. Transfer CB9 elf to mc/usb/hdd/whatever
2. Load LaunchElf or some other tool that can exec elfs
3. Put in original CB8
4. Browse for CB9 elf and exec it

CB9 will recognize the original CB8 and start up.
It may even work with original 7, not sure.

There is also a fully working backup floating around. boots fine from a burned cd.

Works fine with the Matrix Infinity. DMS I believe is still having trouble with booting the Codebreakers?

I have Matrix Infinity, and it boots fine. Only thing is when you select your codes and insert your game, it stays at a black screen.

I think 8 works with it with no problems. But knowing Pelican they probably changed the protection again so it won't work with the Matrix Infinity?

Well my problem was that I had a hdd. I downloaded a new patch and now my back up cb9 works with my back up games.

Where did you get the patch from? So that Codebreaker 9 would work off the harddrive?

Um I believe its under DEV1 and its the first patch there. Its like a gamesave of something like that, but it says ps2 hdd
